How to find us
Whitney-on-Wye is located just off the A438, about 3 miles from Hay-on-Wye, and a short distance east of (downstream from) the A438's junction with the B4350. The B4350 crosses the river at the charming Whitney-on-Wye Toll Bridge (established in 1774).
If you have satellite navigation, simply enter a destination postcode of HR3 6EH.
Otherwise, we recommend using the Automobile Association's excellent (and free!) online Route Planner. In the "From:" box simply enter your own postcode, and in the "To:" box enter our postcode HR3 6EH.
As you are driving along the A438 from Hay-On-Wye towards Hereford or Leominster (i.e. bearing northerly and easterly), the turnoff for Whitney-on-Wye and "The Pound" is on the right hand side. Turn off at the brown tourist sign for the "Boat Inn".
There is plenty of car parking space.
